Natalie Matthewson, MA, LPC
Natalie serves as the Community Development Supervisor at the Central Minnesota Council on Aging (CMCOA). She relocated from Colorado to Minnesota in 2013 and joined CMCOA the following year.
With more than 30 years of experience in the human services field, Natalie has held a wide range of roles, including LongTerm Care Case Manager, Brain Injury Day Treatment Center Director, Mental Health Counselor, Regional Adult Mental Health Planner, Community Development Supervisor, and Executive Director of a nonprofit organization.
As part of CMCOA’s Community Development Team, Natalie provides guidance and support to organizations and community initiatives focused on home- and communitybased services, agefriendly and dementiafriendly projects, and mental health and wellness efforts.
Her career has cultivated deep expertise in contract management, grant technical assistance, strategic planning, public speaking, and project and community development. Passionate about enhancing wellbeing across the lifespan, Natalie has helped individuals from newborns to centenarians live healthier, happier lives.
